It was yet another impressive outing for former Cincinnati Reds second-round draft pick Luke Holman on Tuesday in the Arizona Fall League.

Holman did not give up a run over four innings of work. He gave up two hits, did not walk a batter, and struck out five. The right-hander threw 34 of his 52 pitches for strikes.

The 23-year-old has made three starts for Peoria this fall and has given up just a single run on four hits, while striking out 15. Another encouraging sign in that Holman has only surrendered one free pass.

Since being drafted by the Reds in 2024, Holman has made just six starts for the organization after undergoing Tommy John Surgery.

"Holman was one of the better pitchers in the SEC in 2024 despite relatively modest stuff," Baseball America wrote. "He sat 91-93 mph in college, and was a tick below that in his brief pro debut. But he gets results because of the above-average riding life of his average fastball. He has mixed in an above-average slider and fringe-average changeup and curveball. He showed average control pre-injury."

He is Cincinnati's No. 25-ranked prospect, according to Baseball America. If Holman can stay healthy, he could play a big role in Cincinnati's future.
