There was a minor update in relation to the Michigan-Michigan State annual football rivalry coming up in a few weeks.

The official game time and TV designation for the Spartans-Wolverines matchup will be announced on Sunday. That matchup was one of a few that received the six-day hold from the Big Ten, with results this upcoming week expected to impact the game time and TV assignment.

Michigan State travels to rival Michigan on November 7 in what is projected to be another Wolverines' victory in this hated rivalry. Michigan has won four straight against the Spartans, with Michigan State's last rivalry win coming in 2021.

Michigan State is on a bye this week before they play at rival Michigan. The Spartans have lost six straight games and now sit at 2-6 overall and 0-5 in Big Ten play.

Michigan is also coming off a loss last weekend, but overall is having a better season than the Spartans. The Wolverines are 4-3 overall and 1-3 in Big Ten play.
