Tottenham Hotspur have finished the ticket ballot for the Premier League clash at Sunderland on Sunday, November 29. Roberto De Zerbi’s side visit the Stadium of Light for a 2.05 pm kickoff, with 3,110 away spots available. Season ticket holders needed at least 285 points to get a ticket in the away end. Ambulant fans needed 200 points, while every wheelchair applicant got a spot.
To help fans with the long trip north, club partner bp is offering £10 coach travel through its Away Fan Travel Fund. Supporters with a match ticket can book seats early on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans who attend will earn three points once Sunderland confirm they scanned their pass at the ground. All 18 wheelchair and 18 ambulant spots include a free assistant pass.
Most of the away section at the Stadium of Light is safe standing. Fans who cannot stand for ninety minutes must ask the ticket office for a seat by 10 am on Monday, November 2. Tottenham will email digital passes directly to each season ticket holder during matchweek for Apple, Google, and Samsung wallets. Fans without a smartphone also have until 10 am on November 2 to ask for a paper ticket.
That same 10 am deadline on Monday, November 2, applies to anyone who needs to cancel their ticket. After that time, the club will only give a refund if the ticket office can pass the seat to another eligible fan. Fans approved for paper tickets must bring photo identification to collect them at the ground on matchday. Tottenham may also pick random fans for in-person collection.
Those matchday checks form part of the club’s push to stop away tickets changing hands unofficially. Sunderland staff will only hand passes over to the named season ticket holder on the club list. Fans caught passing on or selling a ticket at or below face value get a written warning and lose half of their points. Selling above face value brings an indefinite ban and wipes out every point.
