Fallon Sherrock is already spending her massive £501,000 Netflix winnings from Beat Luke Littler, on the man himself. The female darts superstar shared a photograph of herself alongside the Nuke, joking that his card had been declined.

The Queen of the Palace was one of 25,000 applicants who attempted to get on Littler's show and managed to claim a leg from the teenager after he'd already dispatched 14 amateur players on Friday evening in Manchester. A packed-out crowd watched on as Sherrock maintained her composure to claim a life-changing cheque.

Littler would have claimed the cash, a pot larger than he earned for his first world title, if he was able to overcome all 20 amateurs who were in attendance on the night. But it seems he was left cash-strapped instead.

"His card just got declined, I better pay," Sherrock posted in a tongue-in-cheek message on Instagram.

Sherrock immediately put the pressure on Littler as she threw closest to the bullseye to claim the throw against the world champion. The 32-year-old went on to hit a 180 on her way to clinching the mega-money prize.

"It's insane, I can't put into words what it means, especially having Rory here - it's his first time at anything and he has seen me win," she said.

"It's a great moment and I will memorise this forever. Give me an opportunity and I will take it every time. I'm really proud of myself, I rise to the occasion."

However, Sherrock, the only female player to win a match at the PDC World Darts Championship, has caused some controversy by competing in the show at all. The Netflix product provided amateur dart enthusiasts the chance to knock off Littler over a single leg, and Sherrock was able to qualify as she does not hold a PDC Tour Card.

Littler overcame a restaurant manager from Nando's, a 14-year-old Welshman and an Australian jockey before being stopped in his tracks by Sherrock. Many believe her presence denied someone else the opportunity to compete against Littler.

In her defence, Sherrock said: "But at the end of the day, I fit the criteria for this. I've never had a tour card, and I wouldn't class myself as a pro really, because all I do is just play darts for the enjoyment of it.

"I'm just so happy to overcome all the hate and win."

“To be fair I was more nervous about not getting the vote (than facing Littler),” Sherrock told The Sun. “I’ll be honest, if you’d seen any videos or anything from the back room, I was shouting for people!

“It’s not because I want Luke to lose or anything, it’s because this prize money is life-changing. It’s definitely going to change my life. I feel like people think I have more money than I have, and I really haven’t.”
