Latty-Fairweather and Arian Allen were on target as The Bluebirds beat Gloucester City in the FA Cup replay.
And Latty-Fairweather told the club’s official YouTube channel, he felt the goal was overdue.
He said: “It was a long time coming to be honest. It just came and I smashed it.
“I should have had a few by now, (against) Harrogate and Scunthorpe, but hopefully they keep coming now.”
Latty-Fairweather hopes the results also keep coming, with Adam Murray’s men now unbeaten in seven games.
And the 23-year-old wants that run to continue.
He said: “It’s important to be fair. We didn’t have the best of starts, but now we’ve started to gel.
“There’s a lot of unity, team spirit, everyone is fighting for each other, so it’s good to keep building.
“We want to go 15 (unbeaten) and then once we go 15, we want to go 20, and then keep going and going.”
