NFL QBs who could set historic marks or reach milestones in Week 8

Let's look at a few big-name NFL athletes on pace to set historic marks or reach career milestones in Week 8.

Since 2018, Josh Allen has 101 wins, including the postseason. With a win on Sunday against Baltimore, Allen can surpass Tom Brady (101 wins) for the third-most wins by a quarterback in his first nine seasons, including the postseason, in NFL history. Only Patrick Mahomes (112 wins) and Russell Wilson (107) have more.

Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow had four touchdown passes in Week 7, his 32nd career game with at least three touchdown passes. Burrow is tied with three other quarterbacks for the most games with at least three touchdown passes in 2026.

With 3 touchdown passes on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, Burrow can surpass Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning (32 games) for the third-most games with at least three touchdown passes in a player's first seven seasons in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famer Dan Marino (42 games) and Patrick Mahomes (38) have more.

Detroit quarterback Jared Goff has 223 pass attempts, 1,788 passing yards, 14 touchdown passes, and no interceptions in 2026. He is one of only two passers this season without an interception and is tied for fourth in touchdown passes.

With at least 27 pass attempts and no interceptions on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, Goff can surpass Jason Campbell (249 pass attempts in 2008 with Washington) for the third-most pass attempts without an interception to begin a season in NFL history, trailing only Alex Smith (287 in 2017 with Kansas City) and Bernie Kosar (286 in 1991 with Cleveland).

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, 38, has posted a completion percentage of 75% or higher, at least 2 touchdown passes, and a passer rating of 110 or higher in each of the past two weeks.

With a completion percentage of 75% or higher, at least two touchdown passes, and a passer rating of 110 or higher on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, Stafford can join Pro Football Hall of Famer Drew Brees (three consecutive games in 2018 with New Orleans) as the only quarterback age 38 or older to have three consecutive such games in NFL history.
