The Spanish-Brazilian forward impressed and got on the scoresheet under the watchful gaze of his father, Marcelo, who took in the action from the stands in Athens. Enzo Alves struck shortly after the restart with the game locked at 1-1, after an Amanatidis glancing header had cancelled out Lacosta's opener for the visitors.

For his goal, Alves pounced on a loose ball inside the penalty area, outmuscled the centre-back to carve out half a yard and, from an impossibly tight angle, slotted past the keeper into the back of the net.

Just minutes later, Daniel Yanez grabbed Madrid's third goal to settle any lingering nerves for Alvaro Lopez's side, before Bryan Bugarin wrapped up the contest in the closing stages to make it 4-1.

In the next round of the UEFA Youth League, Real Madrid U19 will welcome Dutch outfit PSV to the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium in Madrid.
