Now between the sticks at Falkirk, the 4-Cap goalkeeper won the Scottish Cup three times while at Celtic, including the 2019 final against Hearts.

Bain explained after the draw, quite how much that final and the competition means to him;

“It was one of my proudest moments in football. I can remember feeling very relaxed about the final, surrounded by players that had won so much! But towards the end of the game, I remember feeling the nervousness of it because it wasn’t just a Scottish cup at the time it was also a treble on top of that, but when that final whistle went, it was one of the best feelings I’ve had in football and one of the proudest moments of my career.”

“The Scottish Cup is one of these things that when you’re a kid and you’re watching your team growing up that if your team’s lucky enough to win it’s such a special memory for so many people.”

The Third round includes the 20 winners from the Second round alongside the twenty clubs from The SPFL Championship and League 1 entering the competition.
