ACA Harlow, the Advanced Cricket Academy, is delighted to announce the signing of an innovative two-year partnership agreement with Essex Cricket, which will see one of the stands at Essex’s historic Chelmsford home being named the “ACA Harlow stand”.

The ACA Harlow stand is located at the Graham Gooch End of Essex’s Ambassador Cruise Line Ground, and will feature extensive ACA Harlow partner branding on both the top tier of the stand and on pitch-side boards on the lower tier across both the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

The partnership with Essex Cricket extends way beyond just stand naming rights, with ACA Harlow hosting a number of planned master-class events at its centre featuring both Essex Men and Essex Women’s professional players, a presence for ACA Harlow at Essex Cricket’s innovative annual mini-match-play event held at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground, ticket promotions for ACA customers to attend Essex domestic fixtures in 2027 and 2028, involvement in Essex Cricket hospitality events and ACA Harlow branding on the live stream of Essex’s domestic matches and in-ground on the scoreboard at Chelmsford.

ACA Harlow is a high-performance indoor cricket facility which opened in mid-late 2025, based in Harlow, Essex, providing state-of-the-art training facilities for cricketers of all standards – helping to develop the next generation of cricketers in the county of Essex and surrounding areas.

The ACA Harlow centre boasts elite facilities, including six lanes all featuring high-spec pro-level batting surfaces, three batting lanes with high-tech Trueman Bola bowling machines – two with the Trueman 2 and one with the brand-new Trueman 3 machine, three multi-purpose lanes suitable for group training and indoor competitions, the latest Fulltrack AI software analysis, 1-2-1 or group coaching from a team of in-house ACA coaches qualified up to ECB level 4, the best stocked cricket store in the area featuring all leading cricket brands and much more besides.

ACA Harlow already provides its facility as a training base for squads within the Essex County Age Group pathway for free, and in 2026 became an advertising partner of Essex Cricket when booking pitch-side hoardings situated in front of the famous Doug Insole Pavilion at Chelmsford and across the ground in front of the Felsted School stand. ACA Harlow owner, John Sullivan, however, felt the time was right to strengthen and grow the partnership with Essex Cricket moving forwards, and on signing the new sponsorship agreement, said:

“At ACA Harlow, we care passionately about developing the next generation of Essex cricketers, and see our centre as playing an important role in being able to assist with this mission.

“We offer unrivalled facilities at ACA Harlow, and pride ourselves on providing the very best environment for cricketers to rapidly enhance their skills and their wider game. Forging this closer relationship with Essex Cricket and bringing their professional men and women players into the centre for ACA master-class events, will allow our customers to learn the game from those who’ve made it to the top of the county game and help accelerate their own progress through learning from the very best.

“We are enormously proud to be one of Essex Cricket’s sponsors in 2027 and 2028, and look forward to building a closer working relationship with the county side moving forwards, as we look to provide a platform for cricketers to accelerate through the pathway into a higher standard of the game.”

Speaking of ACA Harlow becoming a sponsor, Lorraine Fletcher, Head of Business Operations of Essex Cricket, commented:

“Our thanks go to John and the team at ACA Harlow for their commitment to supporting Essex Cricket over the coming seasons.

“To have an elite local facility like ACA Harlow on board as a passionate sponsor and supporter of Essex Cricket opens up lots of opportunities for players across the county to develop their games, which can only be a good thing for the game moving forwards.

“We’re excited to work with the ACA Harlow team and are looking forward to working with them in activating our partnership over the next two years”.
