NBA Fantasy: Week 2 power rankings
Cooper Flagg is off to a hot start for the Dallas Mavericks, entering the fantasy top 10 for the first time this season.

The 2026-27 NBA season is well underway with more than a week of action under its belt. There have been so many exciting performances around the league, doing wonders for fantasy lineups. Last week, we released the first edition of our Fantasy Power Rankings, and with more of a sample size to look at, here is Week 2’s top 10.

Yes, the 76ers have a loaded starting lineup. But Maxey spearheads that, and his production continues to be unbothered by the cooks in the kitchen. Philadelphia’s point guard is averaging 28.8 points, four rebounds, 4.6 assists and two steals across his first four games. Something to note: Maxey is currently first in transition points (8.4), and the 76ers rank eighth in transition frequency (20.9%). As long as he is on the floor, Philadelphia will increase the pace, which will only help his fantasy output. Maxey’s co-star, Jaylen Brown, also ranks seventh in transition points (6.6), which is exactly why they fit great together as the 76ers sit at 4-1 right now.

The first games for Tatum without Jaylen Brown have gone swimmingly for Tatum’s fantasy managers. Tatum has already scored more than 35 points in two of his four games. The Duke product also has racked up 32 assists in his four games this season. The ball has been in his hands early and often, which should continue all season long. The only knock so far has been a poor start shooting from three. Tatum is just 7-29 (24.1%) from 3 so far.

Johnson has yet to record a massive scoring performance, but it’s no surprise that he’s averaging 9.6 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.2 steals to start the season. Even so, the all-around savant is still putting up a respectable 19.6 points, and there’s no doubt that Atlanta’s star will improve in the shooting department. Like so many of the players on this list, Johnson is more than a scoring wing. The Hawks have a player who can rebound and facilitate at very high levels, making him a top-tier fantasy player.

We expected Cunningham to have to carry the Pistons offensively going into the season and that’s exactly how things have gone early on. Cunningham has been his typical self and with so many key players suffering early-season injuries, Cunningham’s durability has been even more valuable.

6. Cooper Flagg, Dallas Mavericks

Flagg is ascending sooner than people realize. At just 19 years old, he is already turning heads in his second season with averages of 25.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.3 blocks across four games. A shoulder injury sidelined the former No. 1 overall pick, but he returned on Monday with 29 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 8 stocks, making him Oct. 26’s Fantasy Player of the Day. Flagg is beginning to facilitate at a higher level alongside Kyrie Irving, a big reason why Dallas currently ranks 10th in offensive rating.

Gilgeous-Alexander is off to a slow start compared to the sky-high expectations he has set the last couple of seasons. At 26 points and just 3.4 assists on 45.9% from the floor, the Thunder are likely to need even more production going forward. Over the last two seasons Gilgeous-Alexander has averaged 32 points and 6.5 assists on 53.4% shooting. It’s reasonable to think he’ll revert to those numbers or even more points as the reigning Kia Most Valuable Player might need to up his usage with Jalen Williams likely lost for the season.

Miami’s newest superstar has remained consistent despite the team’s 1-4 start. Antetokounmpo can, at the very least, contribute on the glass and in the paint. He most recently posted 24 points and 18 rebounds in the Heat’s first win of the season, and before that, dropped a ridiculous 29 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists for his first triple-double of the season. Miami is letting Antetokounmpo do what he does best, which is operate from the top of the key, but his 2.4 3-point attempts (25% conversion rate) are nearly double last season’s average. We’re only five games in, but keep an eye on that, especially in High Score leagues where missed shots don’t affect the numbers.

Jokić has been his usual dominant self through his first four games of the season, averaging a near triple-double: 22 points, 10.5 rebounds and nine assists. Jokić is in the perfect sweet spot, having enough talent around him in Denver to help collect assists, but not enough to where he still needs to put up big scoring nights. Jokić should continue in the top five in our fantasy rankings with one of the safest floors in the game.

Wembanyama and the Spurs got off to a slow start, but he looks like his usual self this week, especially in Wednesday’s win against the Jazz. San Antonio needed all of Wembanyama’s 36 points, 14 rebounds and 5 stocks in the overtime victory. In the Spurs’ three-game winning streak, the reigning Kia Defensive Player of the Year is averaging 29.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, two steals and an absurd 3.7 blocks. Wembanyama’s defensive presence makes his fantasy floor extremely high; the offense makes him otherworldly.

1. Luka Dončić, Los Angeles Lakers

Despite missing Wednesday’s game with a back injury, Dončić has been the king of fantasy through the early part of the season. Dončić is leading the league in points (36), 3s (5.3) and free-throw attempts (10). We expected his usage rate to skyrocket on this new-look Laker squad and that’s exactly how it’s going so far. As long as this back injury or any other issue doesn’t derail him, Dončić can continue to be the top player in fantasy.
