West Bromwich Albion's Isaac Price (left) scores his team's second goal from a penalty kick during the Sky Bet Championship match against Blackburn
Isaac Price peeled off the perfect Panenka to keep a promise to his kid brother, during West Brom's 3-2 win over Blackburn in the Championship.
The ice-cold Northern Ireland midfielder held his nerve to speed West Brom’s comeback after Jayson Molumby’s ‘dive’ earned a second-half penalty.
Price’s sixth of the campaign was sandwiched between a first league goal for the club from young Scots forward Barney Stewart and Felix Horn Myhre’s dramatic late winner to seal a stunning fightback.
The 23-year-old said: “I promised my little brother that I’d Panenka my next penalty, so I had to do it when it came.
“I have never done it professionally before, but I’m in a good place. I was thinking if it doesn’t go in, I might have to do a U-turn and run down the tunnel!

“I needed to do something different. I knew their goalkeeper plays for Hungary, and I missed my last penalty for Northern Ireland, so I thought he’d dive the way that he did and there was no better time to put it down the middle.
“Everyone around the place is buzzing. It was a tough start to the game, but we knew we could turn it around.
“The scenes of celebration at the end, that’s why you play football. We had too many low moments here last season but it feels different this time.
“Nobody loves it more when the team is doing well and the fans are singing your name. We’ve got that momentum and that fight.
“We’re getting the supporters excited and making it a really tough place for opposition teams to come.”
