Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie is back on the grass as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.

The Ecuadorian international has been taking part in light individual drills, which suggests he is not far away from returning to full training.

Hincapie managed to pick up an injury in the warm-down after the 2-1 win over Leeds United earlier this month.

However, manager Mikel Arteta has said that he does expect the defender to be available within a “week or two.”

Expected Return Date – Late October/Early November

Kepa Arrizabalaga

The Spaniard was a notable absentee from the matchday squad for the 1-0 victory against Nottingham Forest last weekend, with Ilhan Meslier taking his place on the bench.

However, Kepa is now believed to be back in full training, having recovered from a knock.

Expected Return Date – Wednesday 21st October vs Bayern Munich (a)

Christos Tzolis

The winger sustained a major hamstring injury whilst playing for Greece in a Nations League fixture against the Netherlands at the start of October.

Tzolis has already been on the sidelines for three weeks, but Arteta has said that the 24-year-old is set to remain on the treatment table for a while longer. A comeback next month is a strong possibility.

Expected Return Date – November

William Saliba

The centre-back is making good progress in his rehabilitation after spending over three months on the sidelines with a back injury, having last made an appearance in France’s World Cup semi-final defeat to Spain.

Arteta has hinted that there is a chance that Saliba could feature “just before or just after” the next international break, so there is optimism that the Frenchman will be back in training within the next 2 to 3 weeks. But there is still some uncertainty about the exact timeframe, as a lot depends on how his back reacts to higher workloads.
