Artem Dovbyk has his reasons. And they’re all legitimate, given his slow recovery after that January injury, which would be scary for anyone who doesn’t want to suffer a relapse, and therefore re-injure themselves.

But Raffaele Palladino has also expressed his reasons: he demands more, he wants more, and he’s made no secret of it, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport. “Artem must push harder in training because if he does, then he’ll get his chance too.”

Clear. Very clear. In all this, the club is questioning itself and waiting: the Ukrainian was already a shadow of the Giallorossi and has scored just one goal to date.

Artem is on loan from Roma with an option to buy set at €15 million. So far, a difficult buyout. So far, no signs have been forthcoming. Piccoli (out for another 15 days) was unavailable for the Cagliari trip, and Enem suffered a tendon problem.

The “multitasking” Jens Odgaard, a born center forward who has played almost everything since joining Bologna, was on the pitch. So, here’s Raffaele Palladino’s jab.

And now? Palladino has been all too clear: the club is waiting until January: it’s not a given that Dovbyk will return to Rome from his current loan (and then, perhaps, be transferred to a club that can offer him).
