The former Hoops captain will appear at the Gravity Suite in Kirkintilloch on November 22 for an afternoon celebrating his career with the Parkhead club.

The Sunday event, billed as An Afternoon with Scott Brown, will be hosted by former Celtic goalkeeper Rab Douglas.

For VIP ticket holders, a chance will be had for a personal item to be signed by the former Scotland international.

The afternoon will also feature live music from David McKendrick, DJ Broon, a live auction and a raffle with prizes.

Everyone attending will also receive a free pie and pint as part of the event.

Announcing the event, organisers said: “Celtic fans… this is one you don’t want to miss!”

They added: “Get your mates together and join us for a Sunday Sesh: A brilliant afternoon celebrating a modern day Celtic legend!”

Tickets are due to go on sale on Thursday, November 5, and can be purchased from behind the bar at The Lion & Star in Kirkintilloch.

Organisers have warned that they expect the event to sell out quickly and have encouraged supporters to buy tickets early.
