Tennessee football has another big-time quarterback commit on its way to Rocky Top. The Vols hold the commitment of four-star signal caller Kaden Craft in the 2028 class.
On Friday, Craft steered his high school, Lake Norman, to a 56-17 regular-season finale win over Mooresville. That rounded out an undefeated regular season and the program’s first conference championship since 2016.
In the win, Craft had another fantastic game. Cam Gaskins of WBTV in Charlotte shared the highlights of his dazzling performance. You can check them out here.

Craft ranks as the No. 71 recruit in the nation on 247 Composite. He is the No. 5 quarterback in the class and the No. 4 player in the state of North Carolina. He is from Mooresville, North Carolina, where he plays for Lake Norman.
“Promising dual-threat talent that can extend plays with his legs and attack the deeper third with his touch,” 247 director of scouting Andrew Ivins wrote. “Not only owns a unique five-sport background, but has tested in the upper percentile (4.51 in the 40 yard dash) and looks the part at 6-foot-4, 205 pounds. Enters junior season with 20 starts under his belt and has made noticeable strides as a decision-maker while coordinating a single-back spread attack…”
Craft is the only commit in the 2028 class for Tennessee so far. However, the Vols are in good standing with a number of top targets in the cycle. In the 2027 class, Tennessee has 19 commits. The group ranks No. 22 in the nation on 247 at this point.
