After missing the first six games of the 2026-27 season due to injury, Los Angeles Clippers forward Brandon Ingram appears to be nearing a return. Ingram, a 10-year veteran and former No. 2 overall pick from Duke, had been sidelined due to a partially torn Achilles tendon, which required heel surgery.
According to Law Murray, Ingram has been assigned to the San Diego Clippers, Los Angeles' G-League affiliate. While he is likely to miss a few more games, this is a good sign for Blue Devils supporters. After an offseason trade, Ingram will be entering his first season with the Clippers. That said, Ingram is familiar with Los Angeles, having played with the Lakers for the first three seasons of his career.
