Arsenal star Viktor Gyokeres says he "wants to contribute every game" after scoring his second goal of the season against Slavia Prava.
The Sweden international impressed in the Champions League on Wednesday night and he also set up Noni Madueke's opener in Prague. Gyokeres, whose only previous goal this season was in the Carabao Cup defeat at Fleetwood, muscled his marker off the ball on the halfway line and hooked the ball forward into space. Madueke raced past the defence and slid his angled shot through the legs of Nazar Domchak to give Arsenal the lead at Fortuna Arena.
Gyokeres then got on the scoresheet himself after exchanging passes with Mikel Merino in the 38th minute. The Swede made his way into the penalty area before opening up his body and clipping the ball across Domchak and in off the far post.
It was the 28-year-old’s first Champions League goal from open play since he scored against Kairat Almaty in January.

"I feel very good. Obviously, I’m happy with the win and to contribute to the two goals," Gyokeres said after the 2-1 win.
"So, a good feeling in the first half - and then obviously in the second half, with how that went, maybe the feeling isn’t as good right now. But overall, if you look at the first half, it’s a good feeling. It’s my job as a striker and of course I want to contribute every game when I’m on the pitch and want to be involved as much as I can in attacks. Today felt very good, like I said, especially in the first half."
Gyokeres was one of six changes Mikel Arteta made to the side which beat Liverpool 1-0 at the weekend. Kai Havertz has often been preferred up top this campaign, with the German scoring the only goal at Anfield last Sunday.
But Arteta has previously spoken about having two world-class strikers and Gyokeres' performance would have pleased the Spaniard.
"I thought he was really good," Arteta said on the former Sporting CP man. "It's a game that we believe he was really good for him.
"For the demands of the opponent, for the spaces that he could use. He's done it really well. Not only the assist and the goal, but he was really connected to the team. Yeah, great news because I think he needed that performance."
Gyokeres has started just six times for Arsenal this season, with half of those coming in the Champions League. Up next for the Gunners is Hull on Saturday at Emirates Stadium and Arteta has a decision on his hands - start Gyokeres or start Havertz.
"So far we’ve had a good run in the Champions League and in the league as well," Gyokeres said. "At the stage we’re in right now, we’re in a good spot, but I think we’re all clear on what we can improve and what we need to do to take the next step."
