The wait is over — Golden State Warriors' basketball is back.
Following an exit from the play-in tournament and an extended offseason, the Warriors will take the court for the first time in the 2026-27 campaign on Wednesday night against Luka Doncic and the new-look Los Angeles Lakers without LeBron James.
The Warriors should have some familiarity with the Lakers, playing twice in the preseason. In the preseason, the Warriors won both games over the Lakers. However, Doncic missed both games for the Lakers. Fast forward to Wednesday night, the preseason is in the past and the Warriors and Lakers will tip it off for real, with the 2026-27 regular season officially getting underway in Los Angeles.
Here's everything you need to know about Wednesday's contest, including how to watch and stream the game in San Francisco.
