GREEN BAY − Green Bay Packers starting cornerback Keisean Nixon was a late addition to the injury report hours before the team was set to the host the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night.
Nixon (shoulder) eventually was cleared to play and will suit up for the Packers at Lambeau Field.
Devonte Wyatt (ankle) was questionable to play after briefly leaving the Detroit Lions game with an ankle injury, but he’s good to go.
Offensively, the Packers will have receiver Matthew Golden (shoulder/foot) available after he was listed as questionable to play, but they will be down some starters.
Here’s a complete look at the inactives:
The Packers are down two starting offensive linemen for this game. Center Sean Rhyan (ankle) and guard Travis Glover (knee) are ruled out.
Rhyan suffered a high-ankle sprain early in the Week 7 matchup against the Lions, but coaches found out about Glover’s knee issue the day after the game. Glover played the whole game, but missed practice all week.
Jacob Monk originally replaced Rhyan at center, but he went out quickly with a quad injury and is now on injured reserve. John Williams stepped in and could get the start against the Panthers.
The Packers could also change up play at guard with Aaron Banks and Kevin Zeitler.
Banks has practiced for the past two weeks and was upgraded to a full participant for the first time all season on Oct. 28. Laken Tomlinson has been left guard in Banks’ absence.
In addition to Rhyan and Glover, Zaire Franklin (shin), Jonnu Smith, Kaleb Johnson and Donovan Jennings are the rest of the inactives.
The Panthers are entering their short week matchup with suboptimal health. Starting left guard Damien Lewis is inactive with a knee injury, as is edge defender Jaelan Phillips, who is out with a hamstring injury.
Starting cornerback Akayleb Evans was placed on injured reserve with knee and triceps injuries.
Quarterback Bryce Young is active after being projected as a full participant all week despite a knee injury.
