England A play a one-off game this Autumn against Argentina XV at the Recreation Ground as those on the fringes of the national team get to put down a marker for why they deserve to be back in Steve Borthwick's senior side.

Having led England 'A' to a 29-25 victory over Spain in Valladolid last November, Bristol Bears' Fitz Harding resumes the captaincy on his fourth 'A' appearance for Mark Mapletoft's side.

The full starting XV have previously run out for the 'A' side, maintaining a consistent approach across seasons since the programme was reintroduced in 2024.

Newcastle Red Bulls flanker Max Hicks is set for his first representative fixture for a pathway or senior England team if utilised off the bench, with Lucas Friday and Alex O'Driscoll also in line for their first 'A' appearances from the replacements bench.

With eight of the selected matchday squad have been capped at senior men's level, in a show of the strength of the squad to face Argentina.
