Ipswich 1-2 Bournemouth: Evanilson scores again as Cherries make it eight wins in a row

Bournemouth made it eight wins in a row in all competitions as they continued their charge up the Premier League table with a 2-1 win at Ipswich.

Evanilson scored for the fifth Premier League game running when taking advantage of a shocking error from Ipswich goalkeeper Christian Walton, who tried to dribble around the striker.

Bournemouth controlled the game and doubled the lead when Ipswich defender Leif Davis deflected a Ryan Christie shot past Walton.

Ipswich hadn't registered a shot or even a touch in the Bournemouth box in the second half until Jack Clarke scored from the penalty spot with 13 minutes remaining.

Fatigue and nerves started to creep in late on for Bournemouth, who had to stand strong in nine minutes of injury time.

Marco Rose's side head into the international break in seventh place, just three points off the top four.
