Ipswich Town player ratings from 2-2 draw at Hull City

Christian Walton - 5

Beaten at his near post for Hull's equaliser and had a free-kick passed beyond him for their second. Mixed afternoon kicking. Did make one smart diving save late on.

Abdoul Ouattara - 7

Got an assist for Florentino Luis' opener with some fine footwork and poked pass. An attacking influence and was there to make defensive actions when needed.

Dara O'Shea - 5

Skipper switched with to right-sided centre-back for this game. Forward passes weren't on the money. Backed off for Hull's equaliser.

Issa Diop - 7

Was there several times to cut out dangerous crosses. Made nine clearances in this game.

Leif Davis - 6

Usual constant sprinting up and down the left side. Some nice bits of defending on the cover, teasing set-piece deliveries, but final pass in open play was hit and miss. Was also caught up field for Hull's leveller.

Florentino Luis - 7

Stayed in the team due to Sasa Lukic failing another fitness test. Portuguese played much more advanced than usual and got his reward with his expertly taken opener, smashing the ball high inside the near post on the run. A step forwards.

Exequiel Palacios was among Ipswich's best performers again. (Image: Ross Halls)

Exequiel Palacios - 8 (Town MOTM)

Argentine ran the show in the first half, constantly dropping deep to receive the ball before pulling the strings with clever touches and sharp passes. Hull brought on Matt Crooks to man mark him after the break, but he still showed moments of class.

Abdul Fatawu - 5

Another game the Ghanian struggled to massively impact. Some sloppy unforced errors in the first half. The man who was adjudged, harshly, to have committed a foul for Julio Enciso's disallowed goal.

Julio Enciso - 7

Salvaged a point for the second game running, wriggling away from two before firing into the top corner from the edge of the box. Once again, worked hard off the ball again and had some moments of mesmerising footwork. Unfortunate that his headed finish at a corner was ruled out for a foul.

Jaden Philogene had a role in Town's opener. (Image: Ross Halls)

Jaden Philogene - 6

Skipped past a man in the build up to Town's opener, was involved in some nice bits of interplay and did his bit off the ball. A much better display than the one he produced against Forest.

Emersonn - 5

Another game in which the Brazilian had to battle three centre-backs. Wasn't many times where he managed to make it stick or find a team mate when backing into defenders. Fired a decent chance wide in the second half.
