The latest F1 2026 points standings are in after a very damp Brazilian Grand Prix, with Lewis Hamilton losing ground to Max Verstappen and Mercedes wrapping up the constructors' championship.
Kimi Antonelli secured the 2026 drivers' championship at the Mexican Grand Prix last weekend and continues to lead the way by some distance in the standings, but the battle behind him is a fascinating one.
Heading into Sunday's race, just 16 points separated Verstappen in P2 and Charles Leclerc in P5, with Hamilton and George Russell having been sandwiched between them in P3 and P4.
Leaving Brazil, Verstappen remains P2 but has increased his lead over Hamilton from two points to 18, with the Ferrari man now sitting P4 in the drivers' standings after George Russell leapfrogged him with his fourth-place finish in Sao Paulo.
Hamilton does remain 10 points clear of teammate Leclerc in P5, though, and 15 clear of Brazilian Grand Prix race winner Lando Norris in sixth.
Leaving Brazil, the big news in the constructors' championship is that Mercedes have wrapped up the title - a very deserving achievement for a team that has led the way since the very first grand prix of the season in Australia.
It is Mercedes' ninth constructors' championship in total, putting them level with Williams, and their first since 2021.
With all of that said, let's take a look at the latest points standings in full below.
