Savage has picked up his first start for Reading since facing Chelsea U21s side in the EFL Trophy in October, replacing Bristol City loanee Josh Stokes.

Liam Fraser has also been named to partner alongside Andy Rinomhota, replacing captain Lewis Wing who has been named on the bench.

Portsmouth loanee Josh Knight has also been picked in the starting line-up replacing Jeriel Dorsett.

Leam Richardson has also named academy players Sean Patton, Ashqar Ahmed and Emmanuel Osho on the bench - all of which will be looking to impress when given the chance.
