Napoli assistant coach Marco Landucci is bemused by the criticism that comes Massimiliano Allegri's way.
Allegri watched on from the stands on Wednesday as he served the first game of a two-match touchline ban in Serie A for the red card he received in a 3-3 draw with Roma earlier this month.
The former AC Milan and Juventus boss has had a tough start to life at Napoli, but his team thumped Monza 4-1 to move up to seventh place in Serie A.
Rasmus Hojlund scored for the first time since September 5, with Matteo Politano, Rafa Marin and Kevin De Bruyne also on the scoresheet.
Monza played with plenty of spirit, but Napoli were clinical, converting their four goals from chances worth a combined 1.78 expected goals (xG).
Only four teams have scored more Serie A goals this season than Napoli (17), though Allegri's side have conceded 11 times. However, criticism of their approach has left Landucci confused.
He told Sky Sport Italia: "It was a very important match.
"They used to complain about Allegri that he won with 1-0 results, whereas those who won 4-3 were spectacular. Now his teams win with lots of goals and people complain we concede too many.
"This has been going for a while, I remember last season nobody talked for seven months, then they started again.

"All we can do to silence the critics is win games, then you can see things in different ways, but we have a strong squad and I am sure we'll do well with this spirit.
"This was a difficult match because Monza are very strong in attack and it's a pity we conceded that goal just before half-time. We took control after the break, secured the result, and now we look to the next match.
"We have to look at ourselves and our own performances. We beat Bodo/Glimt and held a very strong Roma side, the performances have been good recently.
"Let us not forget this midfield has been beset by injuries. [Scott] McTominay was out for a month and then it took another month to get him into shape. [Franck] Anguissa was out for even more.
"You win games in midfield, and we have improved a lot since our regular midfielders returned. If you don't go at full pelt, you can't get results."
Napoli head to Juventus on Sunday for a reunion with their former coach Luciano Spalletti.
They will be without Stanislav Lobotka, however, after the midfielder was taken off on a stretcher at U-Power Stadium.
"He is certainly not good, his ankle got caught under him," Landucci said of Lobotka.
"We'll wait for the results of the X-Rays, but we have certainly lost him for a while."
