The Minnesota Vikings are now 6-0 this season after beating the Indianapolis Colts 16-10 at home on Sunday afternoon. Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray threw one touchdown pass while leading the offense.

That didn’t matter much to those watching Murray and the Vikings knock off the Colts, though. In fact, the team’s fans and observers were quite vocal about how unimpressed they were with Minnesota’s performance.

Fans Not Moved by Vikings QB Kyler Murray

For his part, Murray was 14-of-24 passing for 150 yards, one touchdown pass, and no interceptions. He also finished with a QBR of 64.4 and a passer rating of 90.6.

Murray is also the 27th-ranked quarterback onPFN’s QB Impact Metric, with a grade of 67.9, which suggests he hasn’t played well this season.

This NFL observer made it clear thais does not feel impressed in the least by the Vikings’ perfect start this season.

The individual posted online, “Minnesota Vikings fan here. I say this as a Minnesota Vikings fan: DO NOT get excited about this 6-0 start. It means NOTHING. This football team isn’t good. Kyler Murray isn’t good. I watched a mid-[expletive] Steelers team start 11-0 with 50-year-old Big Ben and JuJu, just to get [expletive]-pumped in the playoffs. This team is going NOWHERE.”

As for this NFL fan, watching the Vikings play isn’t that much fun at all. The individual posted online, “The Vikings might be the most unwatchable 5-0 team in NFL history.”

One fan wondered what the Vikings saw in Murray that they didn’t see in quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who was traded to the New York Giants. McCarthy led the Giants to a 27-21 overtime victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday in Houston.

The fan wrote, “I am still in disbelief the Vikings thought Kyler Murray was *that* much better than JJ McCarthy”.

There was more love for McCarthy and less for Murray in yet another fan’s observation after watching the Vikings’ win over the Colts.

This person posted online, “Vikings really outdid themselves trading away JJ McCarthy, who’s now crushing it with the Giants, while Kyler Murray’s offense is horrendous.”

Yet one more voice from the NFL world pointed out that the Minnesota defense helped out when Kirk Cousins was in Vikings games at quarterback. Murray also caught some wrath from this fan, who wrote, “And also because of the Vikings’ old defense, Kirk Cousins and the offense stayed in games. Man, Kyler Murray is not good; he never was to me.”

While these NFL observers were not very impressed with Murray, he has played a role in helping the Vikings remain perfect so far this season.

Can Murray continue to play well enough for Minnesota to reach the playoffs? Time will tell.
