Sri Lanka to host England for white-ball series in 2027

England will tour Sri Lanka in February and March 2027 for a series of T20Is and ODIs, with the two formats split around the inaugural ICC Women’s Champions Trophy.

The T20I series will take place in Kandy, beginning on 1 February. The team will then return to Sri Lanka after the marquee tournament for the ODI series, which is scheduled to begin in Dambulla on 4 March.

The two teams last met in the opening fixture of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, where England secured an 87-run victory. Danni Wyatt-Hodge led the way with a stunning century before England’s bowlers restricted Sri Lanka to seal a convincing win.

The upcoming series will give Sri Lanka a chance to test themselves against England once again, while the T20Is will be particularly significant for the teams as they finalise their plans for the Champions Trophy.

First T20I: 1 February, 2027, Kandy

Second T20I: 3 February, 2027, Kandy

Third T20I: 5 February, 2027, Kandy

First ODI: 4 March, 2027, Dambulla

Second ODI: 6 March, 2027, Dambulla
