Former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt was released Oct. 29 from the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad, the team announced.

The Colts announced Oct. 13 they signed Pratt to their practice squad.

The Bengals and Colts are scheduled to meet in Week 16 at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium.

Pratt worked out in late September for the Dallas Cowboys, per a report from ESPN's Todd Archer.

In 2025, Pratt, who played his first six NFL seasons with the Bengals, had 12 tackles in his first two games for the Colts after joining former Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo's defense.

Pratt, released in June 2025 by Cincinnati, signed a one-year, $4.25 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders released Pratt on Oct. 6, and the Colts signed him Oct. 8 to a one-year deal.

Pratt asked the Bengals for a trade in February 2025.

Pratt, a third-round pick of the Bengals in the 2019 NFL draft, intercepted Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix late in the fourth quarter of the Bengals' NFL Week 17 win last season at Paycor Stadium.
