Alvaro Arbeloa says speculation surrounding his future at Fulham will not distract from his plan to try and topple Hull City at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Arbeloa is under increasing pressure after a winless start to the new Premier League season, with them sitting bottom of the table after collecting just two points from six games following last weekend's late defeat at Ipswich Town, where they had been 1-0 up with three minutes left.
Former Real Madrid boss Arbeloa, who took over at Craven Cottage in the summer, insists his only focus has to be on Saturday's showdown with Sergej Jakirovic's Tigers - a game which he had previously described as a "final."
"I am focused on tomorrow's game, on my players, on my team. That, for me, is the most important thing," the Spaniard said ahead of the sold-out clash with the Tigers.

"It is not about me. It is about the club, it is about the players. It is about the supporters. And like I said before, we are waiting for the game where the performance turns into a result."
Despite reports that the ex-Liverpool defender would be dismissed if Fulham do not overcome City on Saturday and then Coventry next weekend, Arbeloa again stressed it was business as usual. "For me, it has been a normal week where we have been working hard, where we were preparing for a difficult match against a very difficult team.
"They [players] did [execute the game plan] for many minutes against Ipswich. We did against Man United, we did against Liverpool, so for me, we need to try to keep that level for 90 minutes.
"I saw the commitment of the players this week, how they have been training, and they are so focused on tomorrow's game. I saw how they can play, and for me, it is the most important thing: the performance of my players."
City have started the campaign well with successive victories over United and Coventry, though they haven't won since the end of August. Their last two away games at Chelsea and Newcastle United have seen them concede four goals, with another two shipped in the 2-2 draw with Everton last weekend.
Arbeloa was full of praise for Jakirovic's side and the way in which they've adapted to life in the top-flight, and has urged his team to play with a fast tempo.
"They're doing very well for me; they are a team that defends really well," he continued. "They don't concede chances because they are really, really compact. They defend really narrow, and we know it would be difficult for us to create so many chances, so we need to be patient and we need to move the ball. We'll be ready for the attacks that are so strong, also in set pieces (City are strong). We know it will be a hard battle, and we need to be ready."
