An NFL superstar accidentally knocked over an official during the third quarter of the Detroit Lions' 20-17 victory against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, leaving many viewers convinced the outcome had been predetermined.

The incident unfolded with Detroit trailing 14-10 early in the second half. Following a short completion to Amon-Ra St. Brown, Packers linebacker Isaiah McDuffie attempted a tackle, but St. Brown remained on his feet with the ball still in play.

During the ensuing scramble, an official became entangled in the action, was inadvertently kicked by St. Brown, and fell onto his back. From the ground, he threw a flag for unnecessary roughness against Green Bay, advancing Detroit 15 yards up the field. The game took place after Rob Gronkowski was left baffled by Terry Bradshaw's comment on FOX NFL Sunday.

Detroit's drive culminated in a 10-yard touchdown pass to Jameson Williams, putting the Lions ahead 17-14. The reaction from viewers was swift and fierce. "You can tell this game is rigged!!! Calling nothing on the lions," one fan wrote.

Another declared: "If you still don't believe that pro sports are rigged you need to go back and watch the Packers Lions game."

Green Bay also faced additional penalties throughout the game, including a roughing-the-passer call on Brenton Cox Jr., a pass interference call that nullified rookie Brandon Cisse's interception, an unnecessary roughness penalty on Devonte Wyatt that set up Detroit's earlier touchdown drive, and a late hit by Derrick Barnes.

On the flip side, Detroit was penalized for a false start during the game-winning drive, an illegal double-team block on a kickoff, and Williams was deemed out of bounds on a fourth-down reception in the end zone that would have extended the Lions' advantage to two scores.

Detroit's defense proved decisive. The Lions limited Green Bay to 17 points, stopped them on downs, and benefited from a pass breakup by Cisse, along with an interception by Brian Branch, who was making his season debut after recovering from an Achilles injury.

D.J. Wonnum blocked a 35-yard field goal try by rookie Trey Smack, who also failed to convert from 26 yards, and Jake Bates sealed the victory with a 22-yard field goal as the clock hit zero.

Running back Jahmyr Gibbs intentionally stayed out of the end zone on the closing drive to allow the clock to wind down. Goff passed for 303 yards and two touchdowns, St. Brown hauled in nine receptions for 153 yards, and Gibbs rushed for 116 yards.

For Green Bay, Josh Jacobs returned to action for his season debut following his stint on the commissioner's exempt list and caught a touchdown pass. Detroit improved to 4-2, while the Packers dropped to 4-3.
