A number of NFL teams are interested in trading for Indianapolis Colts superstar Jonathan Taylor, according to reports.
Taylor has established himself as one of the NFL's most devastating running backs and his future is uncertain after Indianapolis fired general manager Chris Ballard earlier this week.
Ballard lost his job after the Colts slipped to 2-4 with a loss to the Titans, during which boos rained down from the stands and fans chanted 'Fire Ballard.'
His exit - and the team's dismal start to the season - has prompted questions surrounding what comes next for Indianapolis ahead of the November 10 trade deadline.
And ESPN reports that several NFL teams are open to a possible trade for running back Taylor - who has more rushing yards per game than any other active player.
But the 27-year-old, who signed a three-year, $44 million contract extension back in August, insisted he 'hasn't given any thought' to his future.
'That'd be crazy right now, especially because we've got a great Minnesota Vikings team that we have to go against [on Sunday],' he said, per ESPN.
'I think it would be a discredit and a disservice to my teammates and this whole organization to think about what could, what should, what may be.'
Taylor has spent his entire NFL career with the Colts, having been selected by Ballard in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Over the past six years, the 27-year-old has amassed 8,090 yards - second only to the Baltimore Ravens' Derrick Henry. So far this season, Taylor has 492 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns.
Ballard and coach Shane Steichen were already on thin ice heading into the 2026 season after last year's woeful meltdown, when seven straight losses saw the Colts go from playoff contenders to out of the postseason entirely.
Ballard was in his 10th season as GM of the Colts and had a 72-82-1 record during his tenure, including just one playoff win in 2018. The Colts haven't made the postseason in five straight years and already face an uphill task to do so this time around.
