Even though the last game just ended on Monday, the football calendar moves fast, and now it’s time to look ahead to Week 7, which kicks off on Thursday. With 28 of 32 teams back in action, it’s time to make a bold prediction for all 14 games on the NFL Week 7 schedule.
Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson hasn’t performed well since the season kicked off. Limited to just seven games last season due to multiple injuries, Johnson is either still battling injuries or is just a step slower in his seventh season. Yet, this is a three-time Pro Bowler. If Drake Maye tests him often, Johnson has a chance to wake up and record not one, but two interceptions.
Suddenly Jaylen Warren is on fire, and even though Rico Dowdle returned from injury last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers will ride the hot hand. Right now, that’s Warren, who actually entered Week 6 leading the team in rushing and receiving, something that’s never been done in Pittsburgh over the course of a full season. Plenty capable of going off as a rusher while still contributing as a pass-catcher, Warren’s in for a big 130-yard, two-touchdown day against a woeful New Orleans Saints defense that has fallen off a cliff this season.
Daniel Jones has fully recovered from last season’s Achilles tear and has started all six games for the Indianapolis Colts in 2026. Yet, one wonders if he’s still battling some mental blocks since his surgery, because he hasn’t been the same player who earned the “Indiana Jones’ moniker while performing as an early-season MVP candidate in 2025. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings’ defense has been the best in the NFL, with Brian Flores blitzing at record rates. Add it all up, and Jones is in for a rough day, the kind that sees him get sacked six times.
Once Michael Penix Jr. returned to the starting lineup, it unlocked a new level of performance from Bijan Robinson and Drake London. Now it’s time for Kyle Pitts to show what he’s capable of too. The former first-round pick hasn’t had a 100-yard game since Week 15 of last season, but that changes this week when the Atlanta Falcons pull out a surprise victory over one of the best teams in the NFL, the San Francisco 49ers.
The Cleveland Browns are embracing the youth movement, but they still have a veteran at QB in Deshaun Watson. One of the reason’s for Cleveland’s increased success is their vastly improved receiving corps, led by rookies Denzel Boston and K.C. Concepcion. Boston, a second-round pick, is still seeking his first 100-yard game. As is Concepcion, the team’s second first-round selection from April. Yet, both have shown they are capable of making game-breaking plays, and this week both Browns receivers will take advantage of a poorly performing Tennessee Titans pass defense, and each will record their first-ever 100-yard game in the NFL.
It’s safe to say that the Miami Dolphins will be back in the quarterback market next offseason. Though, it’s also fair to say that Malik Willis has shown some glimpses of being a special player, he’s just had a hard time being consistent, and an inexperienced supporting cast hasn’t helped. Still, Willis has displayed his trademark athleticism while being willing to take some shots downfield too. For one magical afternoon in New York, Willis will do some damage with his legs while hitting on a few big throws too, combining for the second 300-yard game of his career while getting a win in the process.
Returning to the field for the first time since suffering his thumb injury in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Week 3 loss, Baker Mayfield is itching to return to action and wipe the bad taste out of his mouth after starting his season with three consecutive losses. While the Carolina Panthers boast one of the NFL’s best scoring offenses, they also have one of the worst scoring defenses, meaning this could be a high-scoring affair. Playing with a big chip on his shoulder, don’t be shocked if Mayfield goes off for a 350-yard day in a big NFC South divisional win for the Bucs over the Panthers.
The Cincinnati Bengals’ defense has done an excellent job creating turnovers this season, with two games forcing three or more takeaways. Now they’re taking on a Baltimore Ravens team that’s just getting Lamar Jackson back in the lineup after missing the previous two games with an injury. The former NFL MVP may not be back to 100% yet, which could cause him to force some throws. Meanwhile, Dexter Lawrence and a hungry Bengals D will take advantage of a Ravens offense that won’t be at its best by forcing three more turnovers on Sunday.
After starting the season with four consecutive losses, C.J. Stroud has rallied his team to a 2-4 record. But there’s more work to be done. It won’t be easy against a New York Giants defense that has allowed just one 300-yard passer (Matthew Stafford). But the Houston Texans have had to rely heavily on their passing offense due to a rushing attack that has struggled, yet is coming off their second 100-yard game of the season. With Houston still playing like their playoff hopes are in the balance, Stroud will put forth his best performance of the season yet, going off for a 400-yard game in yet another big win for the Texans.
No, the Arizona Cardinals have not had much success in Mike LaFleur’s first season as head coach. However, Trey McBride is still as good as it gets, and veteran Jacoby Brissett has proven more than capable when it comes to feeding his top target the football. This time, McBride will help shock the Denver Broncos with not just the first 100-yard game of his season, but also a career-best 150-yard game.
After six weeks on the shelf due to offseason trouble, Josh Jacobs is now off the commissioner’s exempt list and is set to make his Green Bay Packers season debut. It’s a big addition for a Packers offense that has taken off as of late, but is still held back by a woeful rushing attack. Jacobs’ presence is much-needed, and the Packers will rely on him often, to the point where he gets 100 yards in his first game back, delivering a loss to the Detroit Lions in the process.
There was a time when Davante Adams was the Las Vegas Raiders’ best playmaker. They still haven’t found a receiver to replace him, and Adams hasn’t played a snap for the Raiders since 2024. Now he’s out for the next couple of months. Which means the Los Angeles Rams will have to rely even more on Puka Nacua, who could go off for a signature three-touchdown performance in a much-needed win for the Rams.
Kenneth Walker III was worth every penny in free agency. Now it’s time for the Seattle Seahawks to realize that firsthand as the Kansas City Chiefs’ star running back dominates Mike Macdonald’s defense too. While the Seahawks may know a few tricks to stop their former running back, KW3 will surely be motivated to prove his old team wrong, that he is a difference-maker. He’ll do so by racing up three touchdowns in the Chiefs’ big win over the Seahawks.
The Philadelphia Eagles are falling apart with every passing week. Now Jalen Hurts is set to miss at least three more games with a blood clot, leaving the inexperienced Tanner McKee to start behind a makeshift offensive line with a group of injured tailbacks. Yeah, taking on the Dallas Cowboys in primetime, this one won’t end well for the Eagles.
