Chargers make roster move as they begin to prepare for Week 8 vs. Rams

The Chargers have signed wide receiver Tejhaun Palmer to their practice squad, the team announced on Tuesday via X.

Palmer, 26, will join his third NFL team.

The Cardinals drafted the wide receiver with the 191st overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Palmer has played in only one game in his NFL career. He has not recorded a significant offensive stat.

He spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons with the Cardinals, mainly on their practice squad. After his rookie season, he signed a reserve/future contract with Arizona.

Palmer spent the entire 2025 season on the Cardinals' practice squad. Arizona ultimately waived him before this year's preseason.

A day after the Cardinals waived Palmer, the Patriots claimed him off waivers. New England released Palmer as part of the final roster cuts.

For the past two months, he has been looking for a new home and may have found one with the Chargers.

Palmer played his college ball at UAB and scored nine touchdowns.
