The Los Angeles Rams’ injury woes worsened on Friday as insider Ian Rapoport reported that star wideout Puka Nacua is dealing with a “minor calf injury” ahead of the team’s West Coast matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

On Friday’s segment of “Good Morning Football,” the veteran NFL insider added:

“The last week or so, it has been all about the Rams’ injuries, including some of their key players. We learned last week it was Davante Adams out about six weeks with a hamstring injury and plenty of people on defense. Yesterday, we learned that Puka Nacua left practice with a calf injury, went to go have tests. My understanding is, after the test, it was more minor than anything else. I wouldn’t say precautionary because it’s not nothing, but at least not a significant injury. What that doesn’t tell us is whether or not Puka Nacua would be able to play this weekend for the Los Angeles Rams, considering they do not have Davante.”

As news of Nacua’s injury went viral on social media, fans on X expressed their thoughts, with many claiming the Rams’ season was done as the team sits at a 2-4 record with multiple stars injured. One fan said:

“Oh the Rams are done. All that hype.”

Another fan added:

“They’re Cursed.”

Sean McVay Addressed the Team’s 2-4 Record After Arizona Loss

While the Rams started the season as one of the Super Bowl favorites after adding Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald to their defensive unit, they currently give up 23.0 points per game, ranking 17th out of 32 in the league.

After a devastating loss to the Arizona Cardinals, during which Jacoby Brissett’s offense did not score a single touchdown but won 18-16, Rams head coach Sean McVay called out the team for the errors that ended up costing it dearly. During the postgame press conference, McVay said:

“We won’t win a game unless we figure out how not to beat ourselves. Just so many unforced errors, so many things that are not in alignment with what we want to do, specifically on the offensive side of the ball.”

The Rams still have a chance to make the playoffs as a wild-card team, as their hopes of winning the NFC West are all but gone with the San Francisco 49ers currently sitting at a 6-0 record.
