The defender, announced last month, has now arrived in Glasgow, completed his first training session, and is eager to start.
Emenalo told the club's media team: "It's really an honour to be here, especially after all this time. It just felt good to train today, meet the guys; it's a good group.
"I can't wait to get started."
The young player expressed gratitude for a familiar face at the club, having previously played alongside fellow Celt, Shim Mheuka. He said: "Obviously I know Shim from Chelsea, so it's nice to know someone here, but they've welcomed me in, so it's been pretty easy to join."
Emenalo has been following his former academy teammate's progress since his move to Celtic. "Since he's joined, I've been watching and rooting for him, obviously.
"I think he's done well and I've known him since [playing for the] under-15s."
The new signing is looking forward to playing at Celtic Park. "Just looking out and seeing the stadium, it's crazy, 60,000, so I can't wait to get out there," he said.
Emenalo described himself as a versatile player, saying: "I'm a left-back, I can drift inside, I can play as a midfielder. I can play as a third centre-back, but just as a player, I'm a hard worker; I'm versatile.
"There's not really a lot that I can't do."
