Gabby Logan's son Reuben has taken his first steps into rugby coaching at the age of 21.

The Sale Sharks back-row forward has joined the Rugby for Manchester coaching team.

Logan, whose father is former Scotland star Kenny Logan, is helping young children learn the game.

The 21-year-old has already shared his rugby skills with pupils at St Ambrose RC Primary School and Holy Name RC Primary School.

Reuben Logan delighted with new role

The former Northampton Saints player has praised the project for giving more children the chance to play rugby.

"I'm really thankful that Owen and Stan have got me involved with Rugby for Manchester," Logan said.

"It's a fantastic initiative that helps give children a opportunity to play rugby and get them involved in the sport."

Rugby for Manchester has also praised Logan's impact since joining the coaching team.

The project said he had been an incredible addition, with his advice already helping young players.

Following in his father's footsteps

Logan comes from one of Britain's best-known sporting families.

His mother, Gabby Logan, is a leading sports presenter, while his father Kenny won 70 caps for Scotland.

His grandfather, Terry Yorath, also represented Wales in football.

Reuben has built his own rugby career, having previously played for Northampton Saints and represented Scotland at Under-20 level.

He switched from England's youth setup to Scotland, following in his father's footsteps.

The young forward is now part of the Sale Sharks setup while gaining experience coaching the next generation.

His new role comes after his mother famously revealed his move to Sale Sharks before the club had made it official.

Reuben Logan's twin sister is also a rising sports star

Reuben isn't the only Logan twin making a name in sport.

His sister Lois, 21, is a talented showjumper who has also tried her hand at horse racing.

She won two classes at the 2021 British Showjumping National Championships and qualified for the Horse of the Year Show.

In 2025, Lois made her racing debut at Goodwood's famous Magnolia Cup, with proud parents Gabby and Kenny watching from the sidelines.

Her long-term dream is to compete at the Olympic Games.

With Reuben making his mark in rugby and Lois chasing success in the saddle, the Logan family's sporting legacy looks set to continue.
