New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers has been named the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Player of the Week for Week 6.

The fan-voted honor recognizes his performance in the Giants’ 34-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Nabers caught 12 of 15 targets for 165 yards, with a long of 46 yards. He led New York in receptions, targets, and receiving yards while averaging 13.8 yards per catch. It was his third consecutive game with at least 100 receiving yards.

Over that three-game stretch, the third-year wideout has totaled 29 catches for 398 yards and two touchdowns on 42 targets.

The output came with shifting quarterback play. Jameis Winston started but was benched in the fourth quarter after two interceptions in favor of J.J. McCarthy. Nabers stayed productive throughout, with a large share of his yardage arriving after the change.

The Giants generated 461 total net yards in the defeat.

Through six games, Nabers has 41 receptions for 494 yards and two scores. His target volume and reliability have made him the centerpiece of the Giants’ passing attack as the team sits at 3-2-1.

The Giants next host the Houston Texans on Sunday.
