Nottingham Forest have confirmed the very latest on Morgan Gibbs-White, a favourite on Fantasy Premier League (FPL), ahead of Friday night’s Premier League clash with Ipswich.
After an underwhelming start to the season, Forest clearly need their key player for such a huge game against a team they will be expected to beat.
While Gibbs-White missed Forest’s last game against Arsenal due to a muscle injury, the England international has been passed fit to feature in the clash with the Tractor Boys at Portman Road.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference earlier this week, Forest boss Glasner confirmed Gibbs-White was fully fit after training all week in the build-up to the match: “He’s ready, he trained the entire week, so there are no issues.”

Is Murillo right? Have you seen enough from the performances under Glasner that Forest can get things right this season?
A further boost for Forest is the fact that key defender Nikola Milenkovic is fit for a huge game. The Serbia international has not played since early September but did return to the bench for the Arsenal defeat, but has now been deemed fit to start.
Glasner said of the defender: “Milenkovic was already on the bench and is ready to start and play.”
Forest do have injury problems heading into the Ipswich clash, with forward Igor Jesus set to be ruled out. There is hope, however, that the Brazil international returns to action for the Premier League meeting with Manchester City at the City Ground on Sunday, 7 November, 2026.
Forest have largely underwhelmed in the Premier League this season, even if their start to the campaign has hardly been a disaster. Gibbs-White has been criticised during the 2026/27 season, yet he remains Forest’s most dangerous player.
| Stat | Morgan Gibbs-White (team rank) |
| Games | 6 (7th) |
| Minutes played | 171 (5th) |
| Goals | 1 (=2nd) |
| Assists | 2 (1st) |
| Shots (per game) | 2 (3rd) |
| Key passes (per game) | 2.8 (1st) |
Six Premier League appearances, totaling 540 minutes of action thus far, have yielded one goal and two assists and his contributions have directly led to Forest claiming four of their five points heading into Friday night’s fixture.
It is clearly a huge boost, then, that Glasner has such a pivotal attacking force fit to start their trip to East Anglia.
