Watch Alexander Volkanovski’s teammate lose consciousness

On Monday, Alexander Volkanovski shared a 26-minute video from the final stage of his UFC 333 fight camp to YouTube.

It shows two of his newer training partners, Mikey and Casey, taking part in a physical challenge designed to push athletes to their limits.

“After I finish my rounds, the boys have a challenge,” Volkanovski said.

“Every time there’s new boys to fight week, we do a challenge. It’s usually quite strenuous.

“It’s a pretty crazy challenge. We get people spewing. We’ve had people pulling hammies.

“We’ve had it all happen, so someone’s going to spew.”

The challenge started with two men taking turns to kick pads, but neither of them looked like quitting after 10 minutes of constant work.

After that, they moved on to the assault bikes, which they pedaled as hard as they could while Volkanovski’s entourage cheered them on.

Ultimately, Casey was victorious as the challenge ended with Mikey passing out from sheer exhaustion

“Is he alright?” a concerned Volkanovski can be heard asking.

“That’s what I mean. It’s like, people go to hospital.”

Who else is fighting at UFC 333?

Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili are set to complete their trilogy of fights at the Etihad Arena this weekend.
