Roman Reigns has had his say on the age-old WWE GOAT debate and revealed which wrestlers are on his Mount Rushmore.

Reigns, 41, whose real name is Leati Joseph "Joe" Anoaʻi, is one of the most iconic wrestlers of his generation, having been with WWE since 2010.

The American has performed on the Raw brand and is the current World Heavyweight Champion. He also held the WWE Universal Championship for a record 1,316 days, which is the fourth-longest world title reign in the history of WWE.

Most recently, during an appearance on Money in the Bank, Reigns successfully defended his title against LA Knight.

As a result of his success, Reigns can be considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, along with icons such as John Cena, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, and Triple H.

Speaking recently to Club Shay Shay, Reigns was asked to name four wrestlers who are on his personal Mount Rushmore, with the metric being the money that they drew during their career.

Reigns went on to name Johnson, Cena, Hulk Hogan, and Stone Cold Steve Austin as his Mount Rushmore picks. He explained: “Only one metric matters: money. It’s show business.

“The first day I went around the ring, my dad told me, ‘Don’t ever be confused; this ring is only about money. It’s a business. Don’t treat it any other way.'

“I would probably have to say Hulk (Hogan), Steve (Austin), Dwayne (The Rock), and John (Cena). I mean, you could definitely throw some other guys in there for sure, but we only got so many slots. And those guys, when it came to the money and shifting the business, and changing the view of it, the optics of it, they all had their way of doing that, and they were all critical. We wouldn’t be here today without those four, for sure.”

Roman Reigns Names His WWE GOAT

Reigns was also asked to name his pick for the greatest wrestler of all time, and the 41-year-old picked out Hogan as his GOAT.

Although The Rock got a mention, as did Stone Cold, Reigns believes that Hogan is the GOAT as he managed to 'turn WWE from a carnival to a global product.'

Reigns said: “I think I’d go with Hulk (for the GOAT).

“Dwayne, I really respect how he did it. It was just lightning in a bottle. You never seen it like that. Nobody picked it up so quickly and at such a jump. Early on, Rock trying to figure out that character to boom, superstardom in a matter of 18 months and then was able to just go like, ‘I don’t need the machine anymore.’ So, in a way, there’s a GOAT factor to that.

“Hulk had a crazy amount of merch. Every little thing you could think of. Hulk took us from a carnival to a global product, you know what I mean? So that’s a tough one.”
