Cornerback Jalen Ramsey is not known as a pass rusher, but that aspect of his game came up big for the Steelers in Week 7.

Ramsey recorded a pair of sacks against the Buccaneers, including one that sealed Pittsburgh’s 26-19 comeback win. Ramsey dropped Bucs quarterback Jalon Daniels on a fourth down in overtime to kill Tampa’s final chance to keep the game going.

Ramsey had 10 tackles and four tackles for loss over the entire afternoon. The NFL named him the AFC defensive payer of the week on Wednesday.

It’s the third time that Ramsey has taken those honors and the first time since he joined the Steelers ahead of the 2025 season.
