The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Browns still have their first-round picks, but a lot could happen in the next 7 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team, and who they may add through the draft in a class many are calling one of generational wealth.
Pro Football Network recently released the latest 2027 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the team going with a new cornerback and edge rusher from the SEC. First, he has them landing Georgia cornerback Ellis Robinson IV.
They explain the Robinson pick, writing, "Robinson has elevated his game as a redshirt sophomore, recording five pass breakups and an interception while earning an 86.7 PFN CB Impact Score. His instincts in zone coverage make him a natural at reading routes and jumping throws. He is slightly undersized at 6 feet and 180 pounds, but his aggressiveness, recovery speed, and ability to slide inside to nickel give Cleveland a versatile defensive back who can grow into a top cover man."
Their second pick has them landing South Carolina's Dylan Stewart to help fuel their pass rush. That pair of picks should allow for the Browns' defense to keep their aggressive approach and carry this team well into 2027 and beyond.
