The 11th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers (6-1) and the South Carolina Gamecocks (3-3) are set to clash in an SEC matchup this weekend in Columbia, SC. The game will be played at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Williams-Brice Stadium.
Tennessee is 6-1 on the season and is coming off a rivalry win against Alabama last weekend. South Carolina, meanwhile, is 3-3 on the season and coming off a bye week. The Gamecocks started SEC play 0-3 with losses to Mississippi State, Alabama, and Kentucky, but found a huge upset in Gainesville two weeks ago. As of Wednesday night, South Carolina is a 2.5-point favorite against Tennessee.
Ahead of SEC games this fall, the conference will release updated availability reports on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights. There will also be a report before kickoff on game days.
Here’s a look at the availability report for the Volunteers and the Gamecocks on Thursday night:
Out
There are no changes from Wednesday night to Thursday night:
For the first time in a long time, Tennessee isn’t dealing with anything unexpected or sudden this week. All six of Tennessee’s players who are out for the contest are season-enders who have been dealing with their injuries for a while now. QB Faizon Brandon is off the list, and common players like Javin Gordon and Nathan Robinson are nowhere to be found.
This appears to be a very healthy week for the Volunteers.
