Atlanta Hawks announce exclusive streaming with Prime Video. What to know

Atlanta Hawks fans gearing up for the 2026-2027 season will have a new way to watch thanks to an exclusive streaming partnership.

Amazon's Prime Video will now serve as the streaming home of the Atlanta Hawks for the new season, the team announced Tuesday.

All local games, meaning those with non-national exclusive broadcasts, will now be available on the platform with no additional cost to existing Prime Video customers.

“We are committed to putting our fans first and maximizing accessibility throughout the state of Georgia and the Southeast," Andrew Saltzman, president of business enterprise and chief commercial officer of the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena said in a statement from the team.

Here's what to know about the new partnership.

Where can you stream Atlanta Hawks games?

All local Hawks games will be available to stream on Prime Video for in-market fans with no additional cost, the team said.

This means games that are not part of a national exclusive broadcast for Prime members that are in the regional television territory for the Atlanta Hawks.

Customers in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina and Mississippi will get the games.

The Hawks are the first NBA team to partner exclusively with Prime Video.

“We are so excited to have an incredible relationship with Prime Video, who has proven to be an innovative and accessible pillar for both the NBA and NFL. Our fans are at the heart of all of our decisions so being able to deliver Hawks games to our fans however and wherever they choose to watch — whether that be in front of a Connected TV, on a tablet or on a cellphone — is critically important with consumer’s ever-changing viewing habits,” Saltzman said.

Will Hawks games still be played on television?

Prime Video streaming does not replace the broadcast deals already in place.

A total of 74 Hawks games will still be played over-the-air on WANF and Peachtree Sports Network throughout the state of Georgia for free for the entire season. All locally broadcast games are produced by Raycom Sports and are available to all of the Atlanta market and across any Gray Media stations in Georgia.

The Prime Video streaming will add to the coverage, allowing fans to stream the games at home or on the go.

Both deals will make the Atlanta Hawks one of the most accessible NBA teams to watch across the league.

“The Hawks have demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to reaching and engaging their fans and share the same commitment to innovation that drives our organization. Together, we’re making it easier than ever for fans across the Southeast to watch their team," Charlie Neiman, head of sports partnerships at Prime Video said in a statement.
