Declan Rice has shared a significant endorsement of Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, naming the England captain as the best player he has ever played alongside.

Asked by Viaplay to name the best player he has ever played with, the Arsenal midfielder didn’t hesitate.

“Harry Kane, for sure,” Rice said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

The two England internationals have shared the pitch for their country, giving Rice a firsthand look at what Kane brings to the table. While Rice has played alongside plenty of elite talent at club and international level, it is Kane who apparently stands above the rest.

For Bayern Munich fans, that answer should come as little surprise. Kane has been a phenomenal addition since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur, combining his world-class finishing with exceptional link-up play, intelligent movement, and an ability to create chances for his teammates. He is far more than a traditional No.9, and his influence extends well beyond the goals he scores.

Rice has also experienced Kane’s quality in the England setup, where the striker has been a central figure for years. Playing alongside someone of Kane’s caliber can give even the best midfielders a different level of confidence, knowing that one pass or one moment of quality can change a game.

Of course, Rice will be hoping Kane’s brilliance takes a back seat when Bayern and Arsenal face off. The Gunners midfielder knows exactly what the England captain can do, and Bayern will be counting on their No. 9 to deliver against one of Europe’s strongest sides.

When a player of Rice’s quality names Kane as the best he has ever played with,it says plenty about the level Bayern Munich have leading their attack.
