Angel Reese is living the dream of any young basketball player. She is one of the most criticized figures in the WNBA, but she is also someone who makes sure her personality shines through when things go her way.

Among the new generation of players becoming the face of the league, Reese could become the first to win a WNBA title, even before Caitlin Clark, whom many had tipped as the favorite to reach that milestone. So when Reese delivers results that people did not expect, she lets her hips do the talking and her attitude make the statement.

Reese backs up her confidence on the court

Atlanta did more than tie the series. Reese took center stage with her confidence, scoring and ability to fire up her team when her game was clicking. The Dream responded by continuing to feed her, with Reese scoring 12 points in her final 12 minutes. Atlanta built a lead of as many as 21 points in the fourth quarter before closing out a 79-65 win over the Golden State Valkyries on Monday.

Reese was outstanding, carrying the team with one of the strongest performances of her season. She finished with 30 points, 16 rebounds, two blocks and one steal, delivering a performance that answered her critics on the league’s biggest stage.

Her celebration sends a message to the haters

After the win, Reese broke into a dance that showed just how much she was enjoying the moment. It was a celebration of her performance and a reminder that she is not ready to stop here.

With the series tied at one game apiece, Reese has more to chase. Her dance made it clear that she wants everything the WNBA Finals have to offer, and she was not about to hide her confidence from those who have doubted her along the way.
