Llanilar play in the Central Wales League South but came into this game having lost their last three matches.

Crymych had won their last six in all competitions and were confident they could get another win on Saturday.

The two sides had met once before back in the 22/23 season in the same competition, with Crymych winning on that occasion.

Despite their efforts, neither side could find a goal in the first half, and they went in at half time with the score at 0-0.

As the second half wore on, it looked as if extra time would be needed to see if the sides could be separated.

However, in the final minute of the 90, Euros Lloyd set up Osian Williams, who scored to put Llanilar ahead.

There was little time for Crymych to respond and the final whistle brought an end to their cup run.

On Saturday, October 24, Crymych return to action in the Ceredigion Premier Division as they visit Lampeter Town reserves, with kick off at 2pm.

Crymych then face a double header with Llandysul in the following weeks.
