Hyland (rest) is expected to play in Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Heat.
Hyland was one of many Timberwolves regulars who sat out the preseason finale, though he should play Wednesday. The 26-year-old guard averaged 8.5 points, 2.6 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 16.6 minutes per game across 71 regular-season appearances (three starts) in 2025-26.
