Terry Bradshaw believes the Los Angeles Chargers should retain Jim Harbaugh and Mike McDaniel while exploring a trade for Justin Herbert.

The Chargers sit at 0-6 in what has become a disastrous season, with Herbert enduring his poorest performance since entering the league. The quarterback has managed only five touchdowns against eight interceptions, leaving fans frustrated with the team's overall performance.

Herbert and the Chargers' offense have regressed considerably under McDaniel's play-calling - a change that was anticipated to energize their quarterback. Meanwhile, Harbaugh has struggled to motivate the NFL team following crushing defeats, with increasing scrutiny on both coaches.

Though Bradshaw acknowledged that the Chargers need to make changes, he suggested they should actually consider trading Herbert while retaining both coaches.

One viewer wrote, "I usually don't watch the pregame shows but I just turned on and it was on FOX. Man, Terry Bradshaw has to retire. It's over. He's stumbling so much they need to save him his dignity before it goes too far."

Another responded to the above message writing, "I think he is drunk". While another posted, "Terry Bradshaw saying he'd keep McDaniel and get rid of Herbert. What am I hearing?".

At 78 years old, Bradshaw has addressed retirement speculation, indicating FOX would need to terminate him for him to depart, as he intends to continue as long as possible. At the Chargers, McDaniel has faced the most intense scrutiny of the trio, with Herbert regarded as a generational quarterback talent who hasn't yet fulfilled those expectations.

Certain fans had begun demanding that McDaniel step back from his play-calling responsibilities, but Harbaugh firmly dismissed those suggestions.

He stated, "I'm just going to ask point blank, is Mike going to continue calling plays?".

"We're going to look at everything; the job I'm doing starts with me. We'll watch this [game back] and get with our offensive coaches. I see the work being put in in the meetings, on the practice field, and to get that to translate to the field is what's necessary.

"I feel bad for our players, our team, our coaches, our fans. And [offense] needs to be addressed."

If the Chargers fall to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, the franchise might be compelled to make changes while sitting at 0-7.

A Herbert trade seems improbable, with the organization almost certain to demand at minimum two first-round picks in exchange for him.
