A.J. Brown, Ben Brown limited in Patriots practice

Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown’s return from missing four games with an ankle injury has been a bit rocky and Wednesday’s injury report offered a reminder that he’s still dealing with the remnants of that issue.

Brown was listed as a limited participant as the Patriots returned to work after last Thursday’s loss to the Bears. The hope in New England will be that the extended break after that game will help Brown settle a little more fully into the offense when they face the Dolphins.

The Patriots also listed right guard Ben Brown (knee) as limited after he missed last week’s loss. Defensive tackle Daquan Jones (back) and right tackle Morgan Moses (foot) also fell into that category.

Cornerbacks Carlton Davis (neck), Channing Canada (hamstring), and Karon Prunty (hamstring) also missed Week 7, but all three were full participants Wednesday. Offensive lineman Marcus Bryant (ankle), linebacker Christian Elliss (chest), linebacker Dre’Mont Jones (shoulder), and quarterback Drake Maye (right shoulder) were full participants as well.
